Our Beliefs
Acts 17:26- 28

The apostle Paul reminds us that we are all descended from one man - Adam. God created him and all of his descendants. He has made every nation and determined their times and the exact place they inhabit. He did this to enable men to seek Him and hopefully reach out to and find Him. It is not difficult because God is near us. In fact, we all live in Him and have our being through Him.

In the context Paul was proclaiming salvation through Jesus Christ, whom God has sent to be our Savior. It is through this message that God reaches out to the people of His creation.
He desires all to come to Him.

This is the message we believe and proclaim. God calls people everywhere to repent and to turn to Him and obey Him.
He offers forgiveness of all sins and eternal life with Him -
but only if you want Him.

On God's behalf, we urge you to come to Christ.
Today is the day of salvation.
Don't resist and don't put it off.
Our Purpose
The purpose of Community Christian Church is to lovingly glorify God, to communicate His Word, and to develop personal relationships with Him through Jesus Christ.

To accomplish this, we encourage personal bible study,
and offer opportunities for small group studies. Periodically,
we offer a course on how to study the Bible. Everyone should be able to read the Bible for him or herself and have a basic understanding of the Scriptures.

We emphasize the love of God and love for people. He dearly loves us and has shown this love in a myriad of ways, but most especially in His Son, Jesus Christ. We believe Jesus Christ is God's Son and accept Him as Lord and Savior. Because He has shown His love for us, we are able to learn to love Him too, and encourage others to do the same. This is stressed in our preaching, teaching, and living.
For God so loved the world that He gave His only Son that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.
John 3:16
Christ came, died, and rose again and now reigns as Head of His Church.
He is Lord of lords and King of kings for everyone.
All who desire to learn more about God's love for them in a safe, loving, unpressured atmosphere are invited to attend Community Christian Church. Come get to know us and, more importantly, get to know our Savior.
How can you become a member of our congregation?
You must first become a Christian. The Bible teaches that a person who does the following:

that Jesus Chris is the unique Son of God,
(John 3:16)
2. REPENTS
committing to turn from sin and follow Christ's way,
(Acts 17:30)
3. CONFESSES
publicly his faith in Christ,
(Matthew 10:32)
4. IS IMMERSED
(baptized) in water into the death, burial, and resurrection of Christ for the forgiveness of sins,
(Acts 2:38, Romans 6:3-6)
